Lorna zu Solms
No one in my family or circle of friends had ever stood in front of a camera or on a stage. The only acting history in our family belongs to my father, who, thirty-five years ago, spent a day as an extra handing out newspapers on Tatort. His scene ended up on the cutting-room floor. I don't know if I believe in destiny, but there was something inside me I simply followed, and it pulled me toward acting. Without knowing anything about this strange little world, I knew I was part of it. Nothing feels as natural, simple, and right as merging with a role, feeling the rhythm of a scene, and sensing all the emotions that arise inside me and together with my scene partners. What I find most thrilling is diving into completely different worlds and times, which is why historical or fantasy formats appeal to me most. That's my big dream. And shooting internationally is also still firmly on the bucket list.
