Noel Okwanga
In 2016, I stood in front of the camera for the first time in a leading role for the youth series "Schloss Einstein", and that first film experience confirmed what I had long suspected: I never wanted to do anything else. For as long as I can remember, whenever anyone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was the same: an actor. The stories of the friends, villains, and heroes in my favourite films fascinated me so deeply that I'd often forget the reality around me and become one of them myself. That's why I started doing theatre at school when I was eleven. My hope is that I, too, will manage to lift people out of their reality — even just for ninety minutes — and take them into other worlds.
