Mathias Harrebye-Brandt

Mathias Harrebye Brandt was born into the German minority in Denmark and holds both German and Danish citizenship — but he also carries the identity of a multilingual borderland deep in his bones. So it's no surprise that Mathias has been playing many Scandinavian roles for years, with his Finnish characters standing out in particular. His gift for languages and dialects is reflected in the wide repertoire of his work. Mathias can play anything, and stays utterly genuine while doing it — as adaptable as a chameleon. His love of acting is the key that lets him bring the same passion to every role, whether alongside Tom Hanks or on the Cornish coast in a Rosamunde Pilcher production.
