Whether the script called for good times or bad, Noel Okwanga had a brilliant time on set throughout — and with his character Yaro Yukumba, who will keep cropping up in the broadcasts through to mid-July.
Yaro is a rebel: he has defied authority, been held back a year and had to switch schools more than once. He has now found a footing at the youth centre and learned to channel his energy constructively. With Gen-Z drive, he pushes back against materialism and wants to make a difference.
