Masha Wolf… "such a nice girl," gushes the mother of her boyfriend Max Tischer. But when the Munich CID rings the doorbell, the whole thing no longer looks quite so "nice". A young woman caught between drugs, love, dependency and unwanted responsibility. All she really wants is to live — her life, and ideally together with Max. But, as so often, things turn out very differently. Max is found shot dead. The medication in his car is seized. And the tangle of suspicions, false statements and conjecture draws ever tighter. Was the love not so great after all? Or does addiction have its delicate, greedy fingers in the game? And then there are the two police officers who discovered the body… and Ivo, Masha's brother. "Something's not right here…" But what? How are these five people connected? And what really happened in the empty warehouse? A cosmos of loneliness and the longing for security and love. How much are people willing to give to escape this whirlpool of being lost? And what do they do, or not do, to avoid losing their one remaining anchor as well?
