The Lost Daughter

Roland plays Ronny Gerber, seen here in the photo with Claudia Michelsen and Hildegard Schmahl. Ronny works for the von Gems family as head of security at the brewery, which has been in the von Gems family''s hands for 200 years. His older colleague, who reports to him, is Peter Wolff (Götz Schubert). The former local detective and now recovering alcoholic was unable, ten years ago, to solve the sudden disappearance of 16-year-old Isa von Gems — a failure that drove him into an obsessive despair, cost him his job and pushed him into alcoholism. Ronny would like to be friends with Wolff, but over the months he has realised that it is simply not possible. By now he only provokes Wolff and would gladly be rid of him too — which, in the end, he manages to be. THE LOST DAUGHTER tells, over six episodes, the mysterious story of Isa von Gems (Henriette Confurius), who vanished suddenly ten years ago on the evening of a school festival. Just like that, as if the ground had opened up and closed again. There were no witnesses, no usable clues. Only terrible rumours, suspicions and fears.
