"Doing the Pilcher" was the loveliest three weeks of working holiday Mathias Harrebye-Brandt has ever had. As a Dane, he feels at home in the dunes of Cornwall and savours every minute with his colleagues Nadine Warmuth, Frieder Venus and Gabriel Merz — golfing, playing football, swimming and in the pub. It smells of beach flowers, it rains as rarely as never before in the county, and the gulls screech so much that it is rather amusing. Wasn't there something else … ah yes, work! That too!
