Liebe mit Handicap

The lawyer Dr Burkhardt Meurer is found beaten to death in the car park outside his practice. The perpetrator is presumed to be from his professional circle, but another trail soon emerges.
The investigation leads to the nearby bistro "Na und!". This meeting place and workplace for people with and without disabilities was set up by the social worker Franziska Lanze. What was her relationship to Dr Meurer?
On the night of the murder, the lawyer had been at her bistro for the birthday party of his daughter Vanessa (Lea Freund). The young woman, who has a learning disability, works as a cook at "Na und!". Among those at the small celebration were Vanessa's boyfriend Tim, also with a learning disability and a waiter there, as well as Dr Meurer's wife and Vanessa's mother, Birgit. The SOKO detectives learn that, of all places, it was at his daughter's party that Burkhardt Meurer announced he had arranged for her to move to a facility near Flensburg. The shock runs deep for everyone, but did it turn one of them into a murderer? Vanessa and Tim in particular come under the focus of the investigation. Several signs suggest that one of them, or perhaps both together, beat Dr Meurer to death in order not to be separated. For the two of them, it was not only their relationship that was at stake.
