A first-rate trio on the beaches of Sylt: Dieter Hallervorden, Dietrich Hollinderbäumer and Rolf Becker! A dead woman, Marion Caspary, is found lying in a beach chair. Near the scene, Chief Inspector Sievers comes across the bewildered Piet Pinter (Rolf Becker), who lives with his friends Ingo Osborn (Dietrich Hollinderbäumer) and Olaf Bolt (Dieter Hallervorden) in a retirement home where Caspary had also worked.
