The Other Woman's Child

At first glance, the tragicomedy "Das Kind der Anderen" from the ZDF "Katie Fforde" series (Network Movie) tells the familiar story of a woman caught between two men. Gradually, however, the predominantly light-hearted tone takes on increasingly serious undertones, as the heroine Ella, a mediator, suffers from her unwanted childlessness. The film pulls off the feat of telling this story without lapsing into the usual role clichés, and the part of Ruby, played by Anna-Katharina Fecher, also proves richly nuanced: https://www.schauspielervideos.de/video/anna-katharina-palesa-fecher.html Director: Helmut Metzger.
