On 9 November, "Das Unwort" airs at 8.15 pm on ZDF. The film addresses an extremely important subject — and surely not without reason on this historically charged date. Pupil Max (Samuel Benito) is tormented by his classmates at a Berlin grammar school because of his Jewish faith. After Max bites off one classmate's earlobe and breaks another's nose, he faces expulsion. At a school conference meant to resolve the conflict, things instead descend into open scandal between the overwhelmed parents, the form teacher and the school management.
