Jördis Kilic (Diana Staehly) arrives in Lüneburg for a family gathering with her husband Mo (Yunus Cumartpay).
Unexpectedly, they make a fresh start there and become the new owners of the laundry on the Salzmarkt and residents of the Rosenhaus. But their marriage is currently anything but smooth. Jördis returns to work as a nurse and finds a new friend in Franka (Birthe Wolter). At the hospital, Jördis then meets Klaas (Sebastian Deyle), who runs the emergency department. Feelings begin to develop.
But she does not want to abandon her marriage (just yet). In Mo, too, a fighting spirit is awakened. Yet he also senses that his own feelings are pulling him in a different direction…
