Luzie Kurth seems to have stepped straight out of a Nouvelle Vague film. She has a strong affinity with French culture in any case: she grew up in both Germany and Wallonia and completed both the German Abitur and the French Baccalauréat in Cologne. Her parents, both directors, introduced her to the dramatic arts at an early age. At six she landed her first role in the ZDF television film "Tausendmal berührt", followed by further roles, including in Tatort.
