We have a new actor on our books, and since it is of course expected that we, as the agency, will tell you how wonderful this Roland Wolf is, we will leave that to others straight away. In its series "Berlin''s most exciting young actors", zitty Berlin wrote about Roland Wolf in 2013:
Every character he plays he transforms into something special, lending it a touchingly dignified quality. Roland Wolf is versatile — he disappears into his characters and at the same time lives inside them. He learned how to play a child under the direction of Rüdiger Wandel, as Max in the Grips classic "Max und Milli".
"It is always a matter of life and death," says Wolf. "Whether five euros fall down the drain or King Lear is having trouble with his daughters — it has to carry the same urgency." With every role, Wolf asks himself: "What is the character''s yearning, as opposed to their behaviour?"
There is plenty to laugh about with Roland, too, for a comedic talent has always run in his blood. He has now performed in the comedy "Frau Müller muss weg", staged by Sönke Wortmann at the Grips Theater, for almost 100 performances.
