Carlotta Truman is shooting a new ballet series for UFA FICTION
Carlotta doesn’t have to dance ballet — because if there is one thing besides acting that she does brilliantly, it is singing. And so she is ZOLA, best friend of leading lady Liv Lightberg (Josie Hermer).
A fateful bargain turns into a dance on a knife’s edge: the romantic young-adult series WICKED DEAL is currently being shot in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria and Scotland. It is inspired by the novel of the same name by bestselling author C. R. Scott.
At the Royal Fonteyn Ballet Academy in Edinburgh the pressure is high, exhaustion is part of everyday life, the rumour mill is churning, and spite and mistrust are aimed at one person or another — but where would the romance be if it were not also about great love and friendship. And about the challenges of life: the “Wicked Deal” could change everything.
The six-part series WICKED DEAL is produced by UFA Fiction GmbH (producers: Helga Löbel, Kristina Henning, Markus Brunnemann) for ZDFneo.
