A Hallervorden Festival This Evening on WDR
Dieter Hallervorden is receiving a wonderful tribute this evening, 3 January 2026, from WDR! First comes the 90-minute documentary "Hallervorden — Didi gegen den Rest der Welt", which premiered on ARD to mark his 90th birthday in September 2025; then the charming comedy "Oskar, das Schlitzohr und Fanny Supergirl"; and shortly before midnight begins the film Dieter Hallervorden calls the film of his life: "Sein letztes Rennen". For his role as marathon runner Paul Averhoff, Dieter Hallervorden was awarded the LOLA, the German Film Award, for Best Actor in a Leading Role in 2014.
