Norbert Stöß as a skipper on the Elbe
Norbert Stöß is skipper Hans Asmuth. The 18-year-old daughter of shipowner Wilhelm Behritz is abducted on a paddle steamer after her birthday party, and the skipper is severely injured in the process. The kidnappers demand a ransom of 300,000 euros, but the planned handover goes wrong! The money vanishes, Stella remains in the kidnappers' grip, and the truth comes to light. Stella has been in league with her kidnappers all along, scheming to outwit her father. But her accomplices won't play along. Far from sharing the loot, they raise their demand.
