Bianca Nawrath in the ARD series "WaPo Duisburg" as trainee detective Klara Proske
Klara is quick-witted, curious, driven and strong-willed, and Bianca Nawrath stands for all of that too:
"As an actor, I think you always play a little bit of yourself. In the end it's my body and my thoughts that I let flow into it. In real life, though, I'd love to be a bit quicker-witted. I envy Klara for that. What we share is curiosity and a strong will."
In the series, Klara works alongside her father. Could Bianca imagine that in real life too?
"I have a Polish family and we place great value on spending time together. Sure, my parents get on my nerves sometimes, but we're still very close. So I could well imagine it. That said, my father works as a painter — and that's a really tough job. I have great respect for his work and admire the work ethic he and my mother both have."
From 11 February 2025, the new season of "WaPo Duisburg" airs every Tuesday at 6.50 pm on Das Erste and in the ARD Mediathek.
