Allow us to introduce: Lucie (Cristina do Rego), 28, youth-care worker by profession. Far out in the Brandenburg countryside, she works at the Waldschloss of the Kleeberg youth welfare service. It is a home full of hope, in the middle of nowhere. For kids who need a new place to belong. Here, progress towards a new life comes in small steps — two forward, one back. The idyllic Waldschloss and its residents become Lucie's new home and the greatest challenge of her life. At the same time, she has to look after her beloved grandfather Kurt, who suffers from dementia and urgently needs a new home. Could it be the retirement residence run by Frau Dihle (Isabelle Redfern)?
