I often hear adults say: I'd love to be young again. Back then everything was easy and I had no idea how good I had it. Every time, I ask myself how quickly people can repress the fact that growing up is terribly hard work. Hair sprouting, body parts growing too fast or too slow, first love, the first falling-out with your best friends, constantly comparing yourself to others, and your own mood doing whatever it pleases. Puberty is a challenge. I've played several girls going through puberty and have always taken care to take them and their worries seriously. But never has the script alone made that so easy for me. "Das Wichtigste im Leben" describes the appearance we want to keep up for the outside world, and the appearance others put on, which makes us all the more anxious. Luna has a strong need for harmony and wants to look after everyone. Nothing escapes her alert mind, but unfortunately she's also very good at worrying too much. Over the course of the series, though, she becomes ever tougher. Playing such a development is great fun. Soon six months will be up and the final clapperboard on the set of "Das Wichtigste im Leben" will have fallen. Six months with a wonderful team and fellow actors from whom I was able to learn a great deal. In Lea I genuinely found a very good friend, and was able to reflect a lot on what it's like to grow up these days. David, who plays my little brother, I would have loved to take home with me. Clever, funny and sweet as he is. Sidney plays Luna's big brother and always makes me laugh — even though we share a flat, which in theory could carry plenty of potential for stress. Bettina brings the necessary calm to the set, a good counterweight to Jürgen, who is forever coming up with jokes.
