„Das Wichtigste im Leben“ — from 5 June, every Wednesday at 8:15 pm on VOXWhen it became clear that I would play the role of „Tammy“, the best friend of Luna Fankhauser (Bianca Nawrath), I was really looking forward to the project and the six months ahead.Tammy is a 15-year-old girl who at first glance can come across as extremely self-assured and, partly through her choice of words, intimidating. This image is reinforced by the sport Tammy practises. She has played „roller derby“ for years.A sport in which you have to appear confident and have no fear of physical contact. So, in short: Tammy is the opposite of Luna. And it's exactly this strong contrast between the two characters that tells an incredibly beautiful and gripping friendship between the two girls. For Tammy, Luna is her „family“.Even though Tammy always appears self-assured, she too has her burden to carry, which only Luna knows about.Tammy's family situation strikes her as extremely complicated and tragic, so that she doesn't experience the feeling of family there. That's why Tammy likes to escape into the family life of the Fankhausers, since to her they represent the perfect family. Nor is she shy about getting involved in their problems.Tammy always stands up for her best friend and is always there for her. And the other way around it's just the same. But then something happens that Tammy would never have expected from Luna, and the friendship hangs in the balance.I would say Tammy is a person with a big heart, someone who fights for justice (whatever justice means to a 15-year-old girl).Even though she can sometimes be exhausting, you still grow fond of her.You just have to get to know her a little first.I had an incredible amount of fun playing this role, and I'm grateful to have worked with such wonderful actors. The lovely thing about the series is that, whether old or young, there's a character for everyone to identify with.I'm curious and looking forward to the result, yours, Lea Zoe Voss
