Our Julia is an unbelievably versatile and gifted young woman. At the moment she is studying law at the Sorbonne in Paris, performing theatre in Berlin, touring with an orchestra and her violin, and for some time now has been shooting in Cologne for Bantry Bay in the new series "Das Wichtigste im Leben".
"When I got the news last year that I would be playing the role of Honoka, I could hardly believe my luck. I can still remember exactly how I squealed with joy down the phone! It had always been my dream to play a role in which I not only have acting scenes but also dance. Because for me, dancing means expressing myself in a way I can't show in words. But alongside passion, dancing also takes a great deal of training. And discipline. At the same time as we began shooting, we started rehearsing the dance scenes in parallel as a dance group. Discipline, incidentally, is a fitting word for Honoka too, because just as we dancers came together to perform the dance perfectly on the shoot day, Honoka is also ready to give everything for the dance. Over the course of the season, however, she comes to realise that dance alone should not define her life.
