On Tuesday, 13 September 2016, at 8:15 p.m. on SAT.1, you can see our 'Max', Maximilian Diehle, in a very funny role in the romantic comedy "Verdammt verliebt auf Malle". Further cast members include: Stephan Luca, Valerie Niehaus, Uwe Ochsenknecht...Director: Ulli Baumann"Verdammt verliebt auf Malle" (SAT.1), title notwithstanding, is a romantic comedy well worth watching, about a teacher who succumbs to the charm of pop singer Gregor during a school trip to Mallorca. Valerie Niehaus and Stephan Luca make an appealing couple who complement each other vocally too: various singing duets are among the highlights. The odd pupil character has turned out a touch clichéd, but there is method in it: Gregor regards the young people as "culture zombies", fixated on their Abitur and in urgent need of letting their hair down. And let it down they do, including a few drunken spills. The comedy-seasoned Ulli Baumann skilfully spares the film the same fate.
