UFERPARK — GUTE ZEITEN, WILDE ZEITEN

UFERPARK — GUTE ZEITEN, WILDE ZEITEN

Konrad Neidhardt, the young man on the right in the blue jacket, plays PEPE. He sees himself as the greatest manager of all time in the making. In his anarchic, at times megalomaniac dreams, he sometimes overshoots the mark. But even when something goes wrong, Pepe always has a new plan up his sleeve.

The cast has been rounded out with further young talents who get to prove their very own skills in UFERPARK: they rap, they sing, and they hurl themselves down the highest ramps on their skateboards.

In the heart of Berlin, teenagers Amina, Yunis, Lea, Pepe and Milo claim an old skatepark for themselves. The friends are a tight-knit clique who stick together through thick and thin and grapple with the problems of growing up.

Amina is caught between her best friend Yunis and the shady Ben, whose crew is forever causing trouble in the neighbourhood. Lea questions her professional career as a skater, Milo wants to find his own path in music, and Pepe reveals unexpected managerial qualities. Together, the group develops an unwavering determination to defend "their" skatepark against all resistance. And so they stand up together for their place in society, for togetherness, and for themselves as a group.
