Peacemaker

Peacemaker is a gripping series about the global politics of peacemaking, the international arms trade and the deep entanglements between the rulers of various states. Capitalism, wars and power structures have triggered crises around the world that only a few are willing or able to resolve.The ten-episode series is produced by a Finnish production company (MRP - Matila Röhr Productions). The story currently plays out in Turkey, Syria and the Canary Islands; later, shooting will move to mainland Spain and to Turku, Finland.At the helm is the internationally acclaimed Finnish director Aj Annila, known for his compelling visual storytelling.Erdal Kacar is the Turkish president's advisor, always in play whenever his president is present at the negotiations.In the photos you see Erdal together with Richard Sammel, one of the series' leads, known from "Inglourious Basterds" as well as "3 Days to Kill" with Kevin Costner and the James Bond film "Casino Royale", and at the negotiating table with the Dutch actor Ergun Simsek, who plays the Turkish president.Peacemaker is due to be broadcast worldwide from late autumn 2020 on a wide range of TV channels and streaming services…Production: MRP - Matila Röhr Productions FinlandDirector: Aj Annila
