While investigating a murder at the Jena Philharmonic, Inspector Lewandowski encounters a brilliant but tyrannical conductor who routinely demands more of his musicians than their talent can give. Behind the radiant façade of the wonderful music, Theresa and Lewandowski stumble into a seething nest of rivalry, jealousy, affairs and abuse of power — with a fatal outcome for Gábor Kertész.
Franziska Brandmeier plays Maja Seitz, a violinist with the Jena Philharmonic, who is in a ménage à trois with two friends from the orchestra and has a close relationship with the conductor.
