These breezy little pieces — where one person hides under the bed, another in the bathroom and a third in the wardrobe — are also fondly called a "light summer play". Light, then, because it is not hard to follow if you can count to three; but light is hard work… The actor really has to master the craft so that it doesn't show that the thing is essentially about nothing, and yet remains entertaining and, ideally, hilariously funny.
