Christmas at last — the feast of love. For two families living side by side, Christmas Eve is in full swing too. But instead of cosy calm and family harmony, family abysses open up — the venue: the home balcony. An exasperated housewife and mother, a happily pregnant woman, a no-nonsense mother-in-law, two pairs of utterly contrasting brothers, a wilful child, a pubescent "goth", a fake doctor, a real butcher, a grandfather and finally a wine-merry Father Christmas turn the family abysses into a thoroughly amusing spectacle for the audience….
