We don''t know how it''s possible to hold a leading role in a TV series and still regularly take leading roles on theatre stages, but Jens can do it. On 21 November, Jens Hajek celebrated his premiere as cleaning fiend and kitchen fairy in the modern version of Neil Simon''s cult play at the Komödie Düsseldorf. Felix Ungar — an order-obsessed hypochondriac abandoned by his wife — wants to end his life. After a failed attempt, he ends up in the apartment of his friend, the already divorced sports reporter Oscar Madison, where the regular poker night with their mutual friends is just under way. Once Oscar and his friends have calmed Felix down, Oscar decides to take him in. Felix tidies up the neglected flat and gradually takes charge of the pair''s "relationship". He does the shopping, cooks and cleans, which at first pleases Oscar. But before long Felix gets thoroughly on his nerves with his cleaning mania and his quirks.
