Orlando - by Virginia Woolf

Isabelle plays two roles. First Sasha, Orlando's great Russian love, and second Shelmerdine, Orlando's husband once Orlando has become a woman. As director Katie Mitchell is based in London, rehearsals took place at the 3 Mills Studios there, while CATS was being rehearsed next door, which was hugely exciting. The team on the rehearsal floor numbered 45 people. Here we show you exterior shots taken in Berlin and London, among them the Botanical Garden, Potsdam and, at 30 degrees, the open-air ice rink in Köpenick.
