MITTELREICH

The young director Anta Helena Recke has been invited to two festivals at once with her controversial and acclaimed Münchner Kammerspiele production: 14–21 April at the Radikal Jung festival in Munich, and at the most important German-language theatre festival of all, MITTELREICH plays in May at the 55th Theatertreffen in Berlin. Isabelle Redfern plays the female lead, the innkeeper Theres, in this stage adaptation of the novel by Josef Bierbichler. The Theatertreffen runs from 4 to 21 May, with performances at the Deutsches Theater.
