"Blue Moon of Kentucky" is a musical comedy about nostalgia, narrow-mindedness and the immortality of rock 'n' roll. Hans-Jürgen Alf plays the Teddy Boy, and Josef Brandl is responsible for direction and screenplay. Brandl made his directorial debut in 2016 with the award-winning short film "Nicole's Cage" (among other honours, winner of the Shocking Shorts Award). "Blue Moon of Kentucky" has secured another festival booking. From 11 to 18 March 2020 it will be screened twice as part of a special programme at the International Short Film Week Regensburg.
1st screening: Friday, 13 March at 10 pm at the Filmgalerie, opening the Zündfunk party of Bayerischer Rundfunk. 2nd screening: Sunday, 15 March at 9 pm at W1
