Friends for Life and Beyond

We would like to introduce a very special girl to you: 14-year-old Sidney Fahlisch, who has set out to explore and experience the full breadth of film in order to work later, after school, as an actress, director, writer and producer — true to the motto: I want it all! I am film! Sidney writes about the Anne Frank school project:Part of my class shot a short film for a German project about Anne Frank's childhood years. While Lina Dolling took the lead role, I played Anne's schoolfriend at the time, Hanneli Goslar. The clip shows the two girls' first encounter. As if by magic, they hit it off at once and become friends for life. The text is based on Goslar's own words. I also partly took on the position of director and filmed most of the scenes. Editing the film gave me great joy too. Since the short film is set at the beginning of the 20th century, the group let their creativity run free and opted for black-and-white images. I had the most fun dubbing Hanneli's words.
