From January until the end of March 2020, the second season of "Falk" is being filmed in Cologne and Düsseldorf. The legal series about the eccentric lawyer Falk (Fritz Karl) gains a further leading role in these episodes: Marie (Bianca Nawrath), the 23-year-old daughter of lawyer Sophie. After a year spent abroad, she has brought her family a very special souvenir: a child on the way. Marie may not know who the father is, but she does know that she wants to have the baby. Only how does she tell her mother? At the same time, she begins working at her family's law firm. The fact that she is really "only" a temporary helper and is mainly meant to make the coffee does not stop her from getting involved in ongoing cases too. Falk happily indulges Marie's wilfulness, because it is a trait he knows only too well in himself and one he genuinely values. The second season of "Falk" turns a touch quirky, then tender again, and in any case thoroughly gripping.
