Mathias Harrebye-Brandt went online last week with his episode #schwiegereltern. The ten-part web series „Der Lack ist ab" can be seen on MyVideo and is meant to be only the beginning of a witty family comedy that, for all its humour, engages remarkably earnestly and realistically with the problems and modern everyday life of the over-forties. The director is actor Kai Wiesinger, who, together with Bettina Zimmermann, plays the couple at the centre of it all, visited in each episode by one or two guests who, should the series go ahead, become recurring characters in the story.
