This is already the fourth award of the year, following:
Rostock Koggenzieher in Gold, plus the Audience Prize Golden Rottweiler Stuttgart Broom in Silver
The Tuttlingen Crow takes place today, and we are quietly counting on a fifth prize for what is still a very young 2014.
René Sydow (born 1980) took to the cabaret stage in 2012. He is the poet among the satirists. In his full-length programme he balances between literary texts and sharp political satire. Sydow dissects our social reality — the cultural scene, the economy, the party landscape — and his scalpels are wordplay and literary allusion. He is not only a storyteller on stage but also slips into the most varied roles to enter into dialogue with the people of our times: as an over-eager McKinsey management consultant, a cynical field diplomat, or an ordinary woman on the street. His programme "Gedanken! Los — Poetisches Kabarett" was created in 2013. Political cabaret to make you laugh and think!
