Anni (Martha Haberland) has moved with her family from the city to the countryside. There, a culture shock awaits her at first. The eleven-year-old girl still has to get used to her new surroundings. But she finds help in the wild horse Ponyherz, with whom she builds a very special bond. Together with the horse she not only stands up to mean classmates but even puts horse thieves to flight. And then there is the Count von Merfeld, seen here in this photo with Martha Haberland and director Markus Dietrich.
