Jazz (Jeanne Goursaud), Fanta (Jobel Mokonzi), Hajra (Soma Pysall) and Rasaq (Roxana Samadi) grew up on the streets of Berlin''s rough Wedding district. On the threshold of adulthood, they look towards an uncertain future. Only one thing is certain: they have big dreams.
Rasaq''s father Bashar (Raschid Daniel Sidgi) is a gentle and warm-hearted man. A furniture restorer, he loves to work on the old pieces conscientiously and patiently. He shares a special bond of trust with his daughter. He calls her „the light of my eyes“; in her lunch breaks she comes to her „Baba“ in the workshop to rest and talk. Family, of course, always comes first in Bashar''s life. Although Bashar holds a rather conservative view of life, he is very sceptical of his daughter''s wish to marry, as quickly as possible, a man she barely knows.
