Kevin Brand nominated for a Newcomer award in Spain
Kevin Brand has been nominated for the Newcomer award "Mejor Intérprete Revelación" at the Premios Anillos de Oro for his role as KURT in the Spanish series "Operación Barrio Inglés".
The Second World War has just broken out. Although Spain is neutral, the city of Huelva is a strategically vital vantage point for monitoring the ships of both sides as they pass through the Strait of Gibraltar. It is also home to a sizeable British community. The Gestapo sends agents here to keep watch over the city, and in particular over the British-run mines in the province of Huelva, which supply Britain with ore for weapons and artillery.
