Claudia (Janette Rauch) takes down the complaint that her old friend Lupo (Udo Theis) files against one of his tenants. Hans and Franzi are out on patrol through a district on the verge of becoming "in" when an emergency call reaches them: in the courtyard of a building, someone has fired a flare gun at a young woman. She has no doubt as to who the shooter was: Marc Böll, a work-shy young man with a criminal past who is perpetually stoned. When Hans and Franzi ring his doorbell, he takes flight: an admission of guilt? For the residents, the shot is the final straw: the man is mad and should move out, is the unanimous verdict. Only an elderly neighbour does not believe that Marc Böll fired the shot…
