Nola Essam and Franka Roche were hard at work over the Easter holidays. For a whole week the two young actresses stood in the recording studio, voicing the roles of Freddy and Sofia for the new children's radio play by Denise M'Baye for WDR 5:
To avoid being suspended from school, two musically untalented 13-year-olds are forced to start a band. In the dusty rehearsal room in the school basement, they stumble upon a secret place where a woman has made herself at home. To get through the final concert and rejoin lessons without any hassle, they still need two more band members from the school — and a miracle. Fortunately, the lady from the basement was once a guitarist in a successful band.
