There are worse places to shoot in this world! Since June, Noel Okwanga has been filming at Leipzig Zoo with Zimai the red panda, with sloth bear Como, hedgehog Ronaldo and leopard Xembalo.
Here he is in the aquarium with his two-legged colleagues Elisabeth Lanz, who plays the leading role of Dr Mertens, and Madeleine de le Roi.
Noel and his colleague Madeleine play NICK and LILITH, students at the veterinary medicine institute of the University of Leipzig, who are given the chance to apply and expand their theoretical knowledge in practice — that is, in the daily life of the zoo.
