The Robbers Are on the Loose

The Robbers Are on the Loose

Thirty-six years ago, the Swedish children's author Astrid Lindgren created a literary masterpiece: the story "Ronja Räubertochter", with its child-friendly balance between tenderness and pugnacity, love and hate, courage and fear, conquered the world and has now found its way to Gemünden as part of the Scherenburgfestspiele. At the premiere, the young audience was thoroughly taken with this rousing journey into the forest, where it is not only robbers who lie in wait. Third-year pupil Clarissa likes Ronja best. Not without reason — Negar Mona Alizadeh plays the lead role in a nuanced and believably wild, gentle, fearful and authentic way. (Mainpost) Negar Mona Alizadeh delivers an utterly convincing part as the cheeky, daring, fearfully trembling, tender Ronja. In Malte Müller as Birk she gains a caring, energetic and loving friend. (Main-Spessart-Post) On the programme until 13 August. Further information at www.scherenburgfestspiele.de
