The German Schauspielerpreis Ceremony

The German Schauspielerpreis Ceremony

On 22 September from 7:30 pm, the German Schauspielerpreis will be presented at the Zoo Palast Berlin, and to our actress Nadine Heidenreich, who is hosting the evening together with Walter Sittler, we would like to award an honorary prize here and now. The prize for the most beautiful, most charming, most accomplished, wittiest and altogether most wonderful presenter in Germany — something, as is well known, others have recognised before us, since she recently received the BREMER FERNSEHPREIS for her hosting of ZIBB on RBB. But Nadine can do so much more. She is an actress, a singer and a life artist. Why a life artist? I know no one who is so convincingly happy and full of joie de vivre as Nadine, true to the motto: I make my world just the way I like it! The DEUTSCHER SCHAUSPIELERPREIS — a very special award from actors for actors and for people who, through their work, have inspired and championed the art of acting in a particular way. The prize is awarded to figures who, through their creative achievement, help German film to a multi-layered identity and thereby inspire others. It reflects the particular perspective of actors on acting achievements and honours figures who inspire in a special and lasting way through their work, who create room for creativity and broaden horizons. The DEUTSCHER SCHAUSPIELERPREIS was founded by the Bundesverband Schauspiel e.V., BFFS, and awarded for the first time during the Berlinale 2012. The ceremony is a non-profit event, made possible only by the broad voluntary commitment of actors, of numerous friends and supporters, patrons and sponsors.
