René Sydow, who as a debutant had slammed his way to the German-language poetry slam championships in next to no time, left more than 100 poets behind him and ultimately reached third place. The video shows his performance in the final at the sold-out Heidelberger Stadthalle, before nearly 1,000 spectators. The event was broadcast by ARTE and subsequently by EinsPlus.
