Ingrid Lausund's 2008 book "Bin nebenan" was brought to the stage by Duisburg's head of drama, Michael Steindl, for the theatre festival of the 37th Duisburger Akzente, "Nah und Fern — 300 Jahre Duisburger Hafen", and there is a wonderful review of it to read here.
Someone has put a cucumber in my head — who on earth does that sort of thing...?! A waiting room, perhaps a station. Ghosts get on and off. They seem to know where they have to go. Some are even collected. But surely someone must also know what happens to me next. Surely something must be done about me too. This really won't do. Hello?! Hello?! Ingrid Lausund (Der Tatortreiniger), in my opinion one of the best German-language writers there is. Always worth reading, hearing and watching. Photo: © 2016 Simon Paul Schneider
