You might say it is a small Freudian stroke of genius that Marie-Theres Schwinn pulls off here. For she plays the title role, Sam, from several perspectives at once. Daydreamer Sam has barricaded herself in her flat and hides from the world. This, in turn, thoroughly rubs Sam's inner self up the wrong way. Same actress, same person, same costume, different facet of the personality — Sam's self appears to her several times over. And this self does not stop sending her out to search for life. An intriguing look at a person who turns outward what so often plays out only in the hidden interior of us human beings. And with that, an acting stroke of genius too.Cinema premiere: Summer 2017 in Berlin
