Maria Bruni, an actress who fled Ukraine in 2022, has written a play about a Ukrainian fate and
gave a reading of it at the Nowy Teatr in Poznań. The evening was such a success that Maria was able to stage the play, which now premieres on 16 March 2024 and will join the theatre's repertoire.

It is the story of a Polish-Ukrainian former couple who, after the outbreak of war, live in a small room of an old flat in Kraków. They care for their ailing university professor in the hope of inheriting the flat after his death.
