Maria Bruni, together with her young daughter, had to leave her country in March 2022, like so many Ukrainian women and men. She completed a comprehensive state acting education in Ukraine, performed in theatres in Mariupol, Odesa and Kyiv, is a screenwriter, holds a professorship at the University of Modern Sciences in Kyiv, and worked as an actress on many Ukrainian and Russian film and TV productions — in both Ukrainian and Russian. She now lives in Berlin and does not yet speak German, but her English is so good that she hopes to find acting projects here and in other European countries. We are supporting her in this, because she is a wonderful actress.
