Marcel Glauche currently has two Grimme Awards to report. Not really for himself, mind, but for two formats he was significantly involved in:
Mystery thriller "Weinberg"
A special award goes to the series „Weinberg“ from the niche broadcaster TNT
"Twin Peaks" on Pinot Noir: of all broadcasters, it is the small pay-TV channel TNT Serie that sets new German television standards with its mystery thriller "Weinberg" about an enchanted winegrowers' village. Eternal dew hangs over the vines, dense fog clings to the slopes, and the high hills let barely any sun into the village. Kaltenzell is therefore pretty much what its name promises: a damp, sealed-off corner, forgotten in the Ahr valley. Religious rituals, family feuds and unsuccessfully suppressed sexuality define the frosty coexistence of its people. The past, at least at first glance, is the present here.
ZDF film „Patong Girl“
With the only award for a single piece handed out this year in the fiction category, the jury honours the ZDF film „Patong Girl“.
